Indulgent Crêpes with Strawberry Conserve

For the batter:

  • 200g plain flour
  • 40g caster sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 500ml whole milk
  • Few drops vanilla extract
  • 70g butter, melted
  • Bonne Maman Strawberry Conserve, to serve
  • Sweetened whipped cream, to serve
  • 200g fresh strawberries
  • Handful of flaked almonds

Method

Method

  1. Put the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl.

  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla extract and gradually beat into the dry ingredients to form a smooth batter. Finally, whisk in the melted butter.

  3. Heat a crêpe pan over a medium heat. Pour in a ladle of the crêpe batter and swirl the batter around the pan. When the batter changes colour, flip the crêpe and cook for a few minutes more on the other side.

  4. Serve your crêpes with a generous spoonful of Bonne Maman Strawberry Conserve, a spoonful of whipped cream, fresh strawberries and a handful of flaked almonds.
